This is the largest event ever hosted by the Greenwood County Democratic Party – nearly doubling the size of last year’s banquet.
Please read below to ensure the best experience for you and for others!
Parking & Arrival
Given the volume of attendees, we will be opening the doors at 4:15 pm on Saturday (Morris Chapel Baptist Church, 530 Baptist Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646). Our program will begin promptly at 5 pm, so the earlier you can arrive, the better.
There will be three parking areas available:
- Morris Chapel Baptist Church
- Parks Funeral Home (across the street from Morris Chapel)
- Tabernacle Baptist Church (one block down from Morris Chapel)
If you are in good health and capable of walking, we ask you to consider parking at one of the alternate spots to make room for those less able. Handicapped parking is available at Morris Chapel and is marked.
Dress code is semi-formal.
Food Service
As in recent years, dinner will be served buffet style. With such a large number of guests to feed, we ask that you listen carefully for table directions and retrieve your food as efficiently as possible.
Door Prizes
There are SEVEN door prizes available. You can purchase chances to win at the event for $5/ea, so bring some extra spending cash and potentially head home with one or more of the following which have been generously donated:
- 2 water color paintings
- Spa gift basket
- In My Garden, gardening basket
- I Heard It Through the Grapevine, wine gift basket
- Pampered Paws, dog gift basket
- Set of Planter Pots
