Visiting the Project HOPE Foundation Greenwood Campus

It is Autism Awareness Month and members of the GWCDP Executive Committee were given a tour of Project Hope – an absolute gem of an organization here in Greenwood. They have been helping children of all ages with autism and supporting their families and schools in South Carolina for 25 years!

Thank you to Director Niki Porter for the tour and the insights she shared. We treated their staff to a pizza lunch in appreciation of their work and donated board games and other items for the children. Democrats Care!

Please learn more about Project Hope on their website. If you wish to contribute items to help their cause and the children in their care, please see their wish list below. You can contact our Community Care Movement Coordinator Wanda Moore to see how you can help out: wandamoore320@gmail.com, (864) 554-5702.
