The speakers represented a great cross section of District 3.
The Greenwood County Democratic Party was well represented! (From left to right) Janet Ledebuhr, Bobbie Fulton, Don Ciosek, Charles Lewis, Cathie Swindell and Becky Jacob. Also in attendance, but not in the photo were: Charles Ledebuhr, Dr. Bob Phillips, Trey Ward and Lillian Boatwright. Ms Boatwright and Mr. Ward were Speakers at the event.

Angela Perkins, a single mom of a young lady with type 1 diabetes, spoke of the importance of access to healthcare.
Emily Perkins, who has type 1 diabetes, also spoke about the importance of access to healthcare. Type 1 diabetes can cause serious complication and even death without proper treatment.
Greenville Councilwoman Lillian Brock Fleming gave quite the pep talk! While speaking, she created a rally cry for Mary Geren: “Vote SC-3, for Mary G!”

Lillian Boatwright was brought up in a Republican household in greenwood. She does not want to bring her children up under the party that has so unlike the party of her parents and grandparents.
